Well, I need to practice walking without falling. I slipped last Friday, going down the slippery stairs to our shop, about two hours before leaving for our flight to Las Vegas. Skinned my arm, had to change clothes, and wrenched my back a bit. Then, while in Vegas, I tripped over a speed bump of all things! And, no, "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" doesn't apply here. Anyone who knows me knows I could not have been drunk, and you know my husband would not hit me! But I have a black eye to show for the fall. I just got distracted and took another step, tripped and vwalah! There I was on my face, hitting my eye and ribs on the pavement. Thankfully I didn't get hurt worse, broken bones or anything.

So, let me not get distracted from what is important. That is what I can learn from this. My husband teased me that "they have homes for people who fall you know". Not something I need yet. So, one day at a time, one step at a time, keeping my eyes focused on what is important. That is all I need.
